I just bought the Firefly DVDs. And then opened them, so now they cannot be returned.
Except I work where I bought them, so I might be able to get the warehouse guys to shrink-wrap it back up if I heinously hate them.
I wasn't going to do this. I wasn't going to get sucked in by your fannish love. Why in the hell would I want to fall for a show that I know is dead, gone, and buried? And only has 14 episodes, instead of 22 like any normal, self-respecting good hour-long show especially one by Joss? *irritable sigh*
So yes. I'm now anxiously awaiting tomorrow, because that's when I have time to go home and watch some eps, since I'm out early. Might even go home and watch one or two tonight, even though I really shouldn't because I have been sleep-deprived lately and overslept this morning and have to be up at the ass-crack of dawn again tomorrow and should really be in bed early so I am not comatose all day. But I have no willpower so will probably stay up until two am watching Firefly. Damn you. Damn you alllllll.
In other news, I know I owe comments, and I'm very very sorry about falling behind on femslash_minis stuff, esp. so early in the new moderatorship, but I have been pretty sick the past few days. Plus, my laptop went beserk and freezes on the start-up screen every time I turn my computer on, so my only online time has been at work. And that sick thing I mentioned? I took a couple days off. Which = me not being online at all until today, for like three days. Promise promise promise I will update femslash_minis tomorrow, put up the new poll and all, and will respond to comments. And if I don't, you can all horsewhip me.
