(no subject)
I got to miss periods 6 & 7 today. instead, i went up to the hospotial.
It was nothing serious, just needed an eye examination.
Here's why:
Dad came at lunch to give me my homework, which I had left at home., along with a history notebook, which was supposed to be checked on monday, but I took it in today. Anyway, he was emtying out my backpack, so I wouldn't have to carry all my binders any more and my script to Hamlet, which was passed out by my MT teacher blew away, so I went o got get it. well,. there was big gust of wind, and let's just say I didn't close my eyes in time. I wwnt to thw bathroom, to wash out whatever got in there, but it wouldn't come out, and to my luck, the bell rang.
I walked into class, and told my teacher, Mrs. Dell' Immagine that there was somehting in my eye, and asked if I could go wash it out. Thank god she said yes, so I made my way to the bathroom once more.
Well, I was darining that eye with water, but whatever was in there just refused to come out. It gto to a point where it was so bad, ti started turning red and I couldn't even open it, and I sure as heck did not want to walk around the rest of the daywith my hand over my eye, or my eye closed, I would have gotten wired looks or something.
I wnt back to my teachers and told her my luck was comepleylt usless right about then,. She told me to go up to the office.
I told them what happned and they told me to rinse it off, so i went itno the bathroom again. Just as I was washing out my eyem, a teacher came in. Naturally, she looked superised because it was ano students allowed bathroom, and I told her that I knew I shouldn't have been in there, but there was somehting in my eye, and that I got permission to use the bathroom.
She was nice enough to direct me on how to rinse out my eye. When it failed, I had to call my dad to take me to Kaiser.
When we got there, I went into a room, and asked me all these questions such as Have you ever had sex and I said no. I aksed why, and she said that it's required for teens who've had sex to take a confidential STD test. Turns out, sicne I've never had sex, I didn't have to take the test.
So nayway, a doctor came in and she looked at my eye. She tne rinsed it out with a speial solution and I saw lots and lots of orange. Then another doctor rinsed out my eye again, but this time there was no orange (thank god). It did't hurt, just felt like I had been dunked into a swimming pool
i then went to the pharmacy, and they gave me some eye ointment. i wwent itno the bathroom to put it in, and my viosn got incredouly blurry.
When I got home, i took a nap.
