Severus Snape and the Stone of Azkaban

Nov 28, 2006 21:56

The stone walls of Azkaban were cold against Severus’ back.

Dumbledore should have given the Order all the evidence they would need to have Severus exonerated, yet here he sat.

Severus didn’t know who to blame.  Dumbledore?  The Order?  Either way it didn’t matter.

There had been no trial, no testimonies, no evidence; he had been sentenced to life in Azkaban and delivered to the prison within an hour.  He would die in this place.

Severus closed his eyes as he felt the dementors approaching, but he was not afraid; he had no happy memories left for them to take.
