(no subject)
Wow. It has been so very long since I last posted. I've just been sitting here at my computer, and I had a sudden urge to write. Even if people have long since ceased reading due to my perpetual absence.
Big point. I finally feel like I'm building a solid independence. I used to not mind relying on other people. It didn't bother me at all. But now I find myself detesting the idea of any kind of hand out. I want to earn everything I get.
Another big point. I really miss home. I just want to go back. It's been so long since I slept in my own bed, and woke up to the sound of my family messing around in the kitchen or playing video games, or watching t.v. or etc. etc. etc. I have a countdown going on right now. Five more days. Five more days until exams end and I'm free for a month. How sweet.
A job. I must procure a job. I really hope that all the stores will be desperate enough for employees in the holiday season that they'll accept me on short notice. I was stupid and didn't plan ahead in this whole christmas job in Charlotte thing. Oh well.
Another thing. My roomate has introduced me to a showtime television show called the L word that I am completely fascinated with at the moment.
