What up. Went home this weekend. Aside from the fact that I drove about a thousand miles in 3 days, it was fun. When I got home on Friday, I called everyone I knew and invited them over to Ryan's house for some drunken hot tub fun. I'm pretty sure I was the only drunk one but alas, that's the normal right?? :). It was good to see everyone. Got to see Al who I haven't seen / talked to in a long time.
Saturday I had to wake up waaay too early to drive 2 hours up north to visit with the family. It was alright. You know, typical family stuff. I drove the 2 hours home (and almost fell asleep twice by the way) and then went and saw Farenheit 911 with Frany. It was good. I mean, I hate Bush just about as much as you can, however, going into the movie, I knew you had to take everything with a grin because A. it was edited and 2. it was done by Michael Moore. It did, however, bring up a lot of good points about a lot of the stuff that's going down with the administration this term. I guess we'll have to see what happens in November. After that movie I had to respond to the 7 phone calls I received during the movie wondering if I was dead and Frany and I ended up making an appearance at Troys. Didn't stay very long because I got irritated but whatever, it was alright.
Sunday, Mandy and I went to Aunt Karen's for the day. Let me just tell you that Mandy and I ate enough food between the two of us to feed a third world country for a year. It was insane. We just kept on eating anything that was in front of us. Got to see Megan who is growing up beautifully and hang out w/ that side of the family which was really nice. After that, we ended up going out to Ann Arbor to Liza's house for some more drinking and ended up having front row seats to the best dance show ever by some random ass drunk kid. I seriously wish that I had video taped the shit that this kid was trying to call dancing. I COULD NOT stop laughing.
Now it's Tuesday and I'm back to work / adult life. Today at work, the air conditioning was broke for the entire campus and it was scorching hot in the office today. It blew ass.
Excited about the weekend. Thursday Hart and I are leaving for Chicago after work to go to Mark's house and then Friday we're leaving to go to Wisconsin for a three on three grass volleyball tournament saturday which also entails fee unlimited beer from the beer truck. Volleyball and beer... could life get better?!
In closing - Jamie from Real World San Diego, if you read this, let's arrange something because all you have to do is meet me and you'll fall in love, I promise :D.
