Everyone knows I love the Juniors, but I realized recently that I don't have enough friends who also love the Juniors (Not saying I don't love all of you who aren't Junior lovers, 'cause I do) So I decided to make a Juniors friending meme... I hope it doesn't epic!fail... because that would be sad. Anyway, You never know until you try, eh?

I have a few friends in RL who are into Jpop, but they are more into Utada Hikaru. A handful of friends are into Jrock (and I even made a cd full of Jrock stuff) for one of my guy friends so that he can put music in his new iPod. That same person once flipped through my Potato mag, and when Camu Cade's pic came up, he mentioned how he looked like Michael Jackson.

I did get one of my guy friends into Kpop, and now a days he's into them more than I am. I've also got him acquainted to JE as well, but he thought Kanjani8 were called "Johnny Infinity".

Yeah, while doing some research on some of daisempais, I found out how one of the Mets members had a son who was in M.A.D., Kosaka that is...

The closest thing and most updated info. we can find on Mets is this group called J'Taime. The bass player, Takachan, was the youngest member of Mets.

There you go! My boyfriend is somewhat into Jrock and Japanese music in a way, but for the most part Jpop, JE and anything like that isn't his cup of tea. He does support me w/ my crazy Jpop and Kpop fandoms though.

I dunno what is worse, incorrectly naming those groups, referring to SMAP as the 1st JE group, or even thinking JE groups are Chinese or something?

I wanted to cry or be angry when one of my friends saw my current wallpaper, which is LM.C, me explaining to her that I saw them in concert last month, and her saying that they were Chinese. I did have to bite my tongue and politely tell her that they were Japanese.

For the most part I don't have any rl friends who are into JE, Jpop and Kpop. Whenever I talk about Kpop to friends/acquaintances at school, they'll mention how the only Kpop group they know is H.O.T. Although randomly there was one guy who I stumbled on at my school parking lot who was planing DBSK in his car, there's another guy who I'd see at the computer lab I frequent who knows who many of the Korean boy bands are, but he hates them.

Yes, sadly The Mets site is gone, especially when I have "Tennessee Rose", "Mama Mia" & "Elise", my top 3 favorite Mets song stuck in my head. There's another site you should check out that comes close to it. It's more-so of the Johnny's Jrs. Special site, but there a handful of Mets pics as well. Afterall, JJS and Mets were all members of the Jr. Aces, so it's pretty much a Jr. Aces site.

I will admit, though, that there was a time at which it was really hard for me to tell any Asians apart.

I have to admit that I felt the same as well. Now that I listen to Asian music myself or even watch some Kdramas and Jdramas, the distinction has helped a bit on telling them apart. I too would ask and make sure, just to be safe.

[BTW... I'm 1/2 Asian myself, part Filipino and part Caucasian, but I look so white that if you were to randomly see me, you would not think I'm Asian at all. Sometimes people would think I'm Hispanic and/or Latino.

Right now I am responsible for getting my rl friends into Kpop and Jpop. I forgot to mention how I made a cd full of Kpop, Jpop and Jrock songs for one of my friends before she went back to Thailand (she's 1/2 Thai, 1/2 Filipino). I'm also getting one of my other friends into Kpop, but she's more into Kdramas and the Korean actors though.

LM.C is love! Same goes w/ Pierrot. I got to see them and even meet LM.C last month at Anime Expo. They look younger than their age and even cuter too in person. Both Aiji and Maya have bony hands though, when I gave them both a handshake.

Of all people, one 2 people liftetime have asked me if I'm Filipino. Whenever I'm w/ my mom, people think she's either Chinese or Korean.

I'm only open about my Asian fandoms to certain friends. The rest won't really understand why and be to the point where they'll make ignorant comments. So I don't even bother.

School started already for you? That's very early! I don't start classes until September, but in years past, except for my University Days when I'd start classes late September, my classes would either start late August or Early September. Around this time during high school, I'd be at band camp.
