I don't know anything specifically, so I can't say what is going to happen exactly, but what I can say is that there will apparently be a lot of destruction here by magical forces.

I learned this from a prophet.

To be honest, I didn't expect the source to be what it was, but I don't take prophecies lightly. There is always a grain of truth to them and it's best to be prepared one way or the other.

I don't put much faith in prophecies myself, but there's little to lose from preparing for the possibility that it might be true.

Defending ourselves from magical forces will be difficult, though, especially without any details about what exactly those forces might be.

There are certain basic preparations one can take. Making your home into some sort of fortress that can weather harsh damage being one of them as well as making sure there are enough provisions and basic things such as that.

There's not much that we can do with so little information, I am aware, but a little knowledge is better than none.

I've just arrived, and provisions aren't exactly easy to find around here, but I'll have to see about making my dwelling more secure. It would be irritating to have to find someplace new to live so soon - particularly when this location is so convenient.

Better safe than sorry, I suppose. Such preparations could be useful even if nothing ends up happening.

It's good to know you're trustworthy.
