(no subject)
I really never update...sorry. haha I wish I had more time for this but I dont so I guess Ill fill you in here a little.
Christmas break was ok...it was weird being home kinda especially when I went to the highschool to talk about my college experience. The school is completely different now. They dont even use silverware or real plates...its all plastic and stuff. (GRRREAT for the environment morons) A lot of the teachers were different too. Im pretty thankful I graduated when I did.
I ran a lot of break cause the weather was AMAZING. But now its cold again so its back to the treadmill which I loathe.
Started classes yesterday...I like them. My philosophy prof straight up said we all get As no matter what. He isnt even teaching the class. Hes like 60 and said that he has had tenure long enough that the school would have gotten rid of him by now. So he's going to sit in the class and let us each talk for 15 minutes about the reading (4 people per day in alphabetical order) THATS IT. Hes like we are only staying for an hour because I have to go to happy hour (its an hour and a half class) and he said he doesn't care if we leave the room or talk to our friends or do other work or anything. Just show up and bring the book with you. NUTS.
Im going to Cleveland next weekend with Briana and Megan from RIT. Its gonna be lots of fun...Im psyched.
Im also going to new orleans for spring break to do Katrina clean up which Im not sure I mentioned in a prior post but I thought I would throw it in there.
OH my favorite poli sci prof said something interesting in class yesterday:
"I like therapy. I know you pay for it out the ass but where else can you get someone to pretend to pay complete attention to you for a whole hour besides a prostitute?" haha he's crazy...good old Fisher.
