Older Dog Needs a New Home
Friends of mine rescued a wonderful dog last week, which they suspect was probably abandoned (i.e dumped) as he is very friendly, very sweet, and is housebroken.
Unfortunately, these friends are already squeezed by slow business in bad economy (they have a very small company), a kid going to college, and another dog with health issues. The local senior adoption center has no room for him. They do not want to turn him over to the shelter because they consider older dogs with some health issues as "non-adoptable" and will euthanize them.
