Basically, you've summed up my feelings. Except for the ironic part; ironic would be if a croc got him.

Still, it's a sadder world. Quieter, but sadder.

Ironic in that, with all the dangerous creatures he's handled thus far, the one creature, who has an extreme low mortality rate of humans, is the one who killed him.
