(no subject)
i just had an epiphany of sorts. meh. it's probably been burning in the back of my mind and i just haven't put it into words or written it down somewhere...
i was talking to my friend josh online last night-- he brought up the gf v. vg dilemma. you know... girlfriend versus video games? lol...
okay, so here's what i figured:
a significant other will only stick around for as long as she feels she's wanted. such is the nature of people. if a person, regardless of whether they're male or female, feels like they're not wanted anymore, why stick around?
video games, on the other hand, can be played over and over and over again, until your thumbs are black and blue and numb and you can't remember your own name anymore.
so, in short... video games can be revisited; you'll be lucky if your significant other will take you back after one mess-up.
makes sense, though, doesn't it? hehh...
