I finally wrote another poem!!! LOL
It's been so long since I've written anything new... but I finally did it... and my fiance was my inspiration for this one... I hope you enjoy it :)
His Hands
His hands are strong enough to break through a door
in search of a person in danger
His hands are strong enough to pull an innocent
to safety from a raging fire
His hands are fast enough to pull someone back
away from danger in seconds
His hands are fast enough to catch paper
falling to the floor
His hands are skilled enough to take apart an
engine block and rebuild it just for fun
His hands are skilled enough to fix just about
anything given to him to figure out
His hands are soft enough to hold mine as we
are driving somewhere together
His hands are soft enough to slowly slip his
fingers through my hair
His hands are gentle enough to caress my cheek
to wipe away my tears
His hands are gentle enough to touch me
seductively and passionately as we make love
His hands are loving enough to hold me as
I dream safe in his embrace
His hands are loving enough to never ever
let me go
