Big trip to the library today. Several books were overdue and I've had some of the others for almost two months now.
What Sara's been reading:
#55.
The God Particle by Richard Cox - A really interesting idea that totally flopped at the end. Bummer.
#56.
The Fall of Atlantis by Marion Zimmer Bradley - since I like her Avalon series so much, I thought I'd branch out a bit, but this one left me wanting more. The damn thing barely even mentions the actual isle of Atlantis.
#56.
The Emperor's Children by Claire Messud - interesting, and the up-close-and-personal take on 9/11 was well written.
#57.
The Virgin's Lover by Philippa Gregory - I don't know much about the "virgin" Queen Elizabeth, but this book made her look like a complete wimp. *shrug*
#58.
My Latest Grievance by Elinor Lipman - told from the fascinating point of view of a "dorm baby", this book looked deep into how one person can change a lot of lives...without too much cliche...
#59.
Goodnight Nobody by Jennifer Weiner - a hilarious story but Ms. Weiner should probably stay away from murder mystery in the future. Very good book, but knowing the ending makes me not want to buy it.
Other than reading, I've been busy with work. And not much else...
