I'm a bit behind on recording books I've read. Nothing terribly interesting has been happening lately.
#46.
The Time-Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger - What a fantastic story! Unlike anything I have ever read. Excellent from the first page to the last.
#47.
A Million Little Pieces by James Frey - I expected a lot out of this book, having once been a member of Oprah's exclusive book club but it was really rather banal. Rachel's Holiday is a bit more exciting.
#48.
Empress Orchid by Anchee Min - Interesting enough, but hardly original. Think: an imperial version of Raise the Red Lantern.
#49.
Blackwood Farm by Anne Rice - I was mildly disappointed with this Chronicle. Characters that were introduced to the existing story were lacking in the color I attribute to Anne Rice's storytelling. Meh.
I'm still getting paperwork finished to enroll at Metropolitan. What a hassle.
Candace and Nathan moved to their new apartment this past weekend; very nice.
Cori asked me to be one of her bridesmaids. Yay!
