This morning I refilled the bird feeder that hangs on a branch just beyond our kitchen deck. It didn't take long for the birds to find the food and I found it so wonderful and relaxing to just sit there on my dining room floor and listen to them singing to each other. Meg came and sat in my lap, and though it was obvious she wasn't there for petting, it was nice just to have a warm, furry body close to me. I do so love our heavily wooded backyard.
Tomorrow is my only day off work this week and so will be Library Day. Several books I've requested for them to hold for me have come available, so I have to go and pick them up.

Digging to America by Anne Tyler - I enjoyed most of this book. But the ending was just plain stupid.
