I got my second paycheck today and it was considerably more than I'd thought it was going to be. So I went and bought a new purse...and some underwear.

Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult - Amazing...but I'm getting a bit tired of the courtroom drama that seems to come with every Picoult novel.

Happiness Sold Separately by Lolly Winston - this book made me sad because it described perfectly how I felt when Kevin cheated on me. Very abrupt ending, like the author was too unseasoned to know exactly where to stop writing.

Hullaballoo in the Guava Orchard by Kiran Desai - a pathetic main character becomes god-like because he's lazier than hell? Hmm... Very strange ending.l
