Clearing The Decks

Today's Writing Effort

Tahara came over to help James with Sappho's room some more. But we never got part of the bed in the mail, as far as I know, so progress is kind of stalled. I told James to contact the seller even though it's been a hot minute since he ordered it. It's better than nothing.

I had animal chores this morning. It's really fucking cold out, though not as bad as the cold snap we had last winter in which I had to water the bunnies every 2-4 hours so that they could actually have liquid water. It froze that fast.

I was supposed to babysit for Sappho today while Jenny had a photo shoot, but Sappho went to daycare instead. I'm fine with that since it allowed me to finish up morning chores and get some crochet time in.

I made some real progress on round three of Bastion's ear warmer (Alpine Stitch Headband). I hope I get it right this time. I'm ready to move on to something else. I've got one other WIP (Work In Progress) which are the Autumnal Placemats. I also have two months of the Moroccan Tile Afghan to work up.

One project that I've put on hold that I'm super excited about is an Amigurumi project to make The Unicorn and The Red Bull, from the animated classic, The Last Unicorn. I have the yarn, the other supplies, and the patterns, and I just need to clear the deck a bit so that I can concentrate on that. If I do it right, it's going to be FANTASTIC!
