As Close To A Day Off As I'm Likely To Get Unless I Get Seriously Laid Up
Today's Writing Effort
Nothing special today except that Jenny was supposed to have a location photo shoot, but the roads were all black ice up to the location, so she had to re-schedule it. That meant that I didn't have to babysit Sappho in the morning. I did remind James in an unintentional way about animal chores.
Last night, Kitty and Travis brought the truck back to the house, so I can do a dump run on Tuesday. If I go soon enough, then I can have a shower before James and I have our date.
So, today I watched a Hallmark Cozy Mystery movie and read some of my latest book. Apollo got out tonight because I forgot to close up the pet flap that leads out to the deck. I saw him crouched by the front door when I walked to the kitchen to wash the dishes. Naughty boy.
Thumper is definitely gaining some weight back. Now he just needs another bath and a second visit to the vet to check his feet and he's well on his way to being healthy again.
