Today's Writing Effort

Today was laundry day only because James was running low on clothes. I normally do it on Wednesdays, but that didn't happen this week. *Le Sigh*

I finished the scarf for Bastion. Now all I need to do is to make the ear warmer. In other crochet news, I got the first kit of the Moroccan Tile Afghan Kit and I can't wait to start working on it. I've been wanting this pattern for a long time and they don't sell it separately, just as part of a kit. So, I hit up the folks in my life to get me the kit. It's expensive, but once I have the pattern, I can make it in any colors that I want in the future. I just have to make sure not to lose any of the instructions. I also need to get the account information from whoever set it up (probably James) so that I can access the additional instructional videos and digital versions of the pattern (so that I can have that as a backup).

James and I got to hang out a little in the evening after he and Jenny got home from their date. I babysat for Sappho and it was alright until almost the very end, when I was so tired that I was about to fall asleep. I had to be up and about quite a bit because of getting dinner for myself and a snack for Sappho, and laundry (five loads today), and giving the chickens and the bunnies hot water just after sunset so that their water doesn't get frozen too fast.
