Thanksgiving Is Everyday
Today's Writing Effort
I got some crochet done today, but not as much as I would like. My toe still hurts, but I'm getting around alright. I babysat for Sappho while James and Jenny had their date. It was alright. We watched a couple of movies, well mostly. I had to do some cooking. I made my old school Thanksgiving feast for myself so that I wouldn't have to cook dinner for a few days. The only thing missing is pie, but I got enough of that on the real Thanksgiving. I just missed out on having turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn, gravy, and cranberry sauce.
Venus has been sleeping under my desk a lot in the last few weeks. It's pretty adorable. Apollo was all about the lap today, more so than usual. And Yuno still lets me brush her, even if it's rather grudgingly. She gets extra treats because of the knots that get into her fur more than her siblings.
Thumper is improving more and more each day. I am letting him use the old bowls for Venus and Apollo that Jenny got for them with their names on the side. They're sized for small dogs, so they're too big for the cats, but they're great for a bunny. Especially since they have non-slide rims on the bottom so that he can't tip it over without trying REALLY hard. He has one for water and one for pellets mixed with whole oats. And he has a little bowl for timothy hay or orchard grass.
