Today's Writing Effort
After doing all my morning duties, including animal chores and getting the fire set up, I took the sick rabbit to the vet. I had to pick a name, so I picked Heather. Anyway, they gave me some antibiotics to give to her and I took her home after a tiny pit stop at Lowe's to get a new sprayer for the hose. The old one leaked and caused a bit of a mess all over the gym floor by the door to Gen Pop. Anyway, I put her and her babies in an extra-large cage and put them in the laundry room so that they could be warm and safe while Heather gets better.
James and I had a date tonight. We went to the Roxy Theater to see Conclave. It was really good and had an ending that I almost didn't see coming. It's based on a book and I might like to read it one of these days. We had a good time and I always think it's nice that we have some dedicated time once a week that's just us. He and Jenny do the same thing, and I babysit so that they can do that.
