Final Stretch
Today's Writing Effort
Today was a busy day. After morning chores, I helped James clean up the gym while Jamie the housekeeper was upstairs doing her thing. She had to come downstairs and re-do the gym floor when we were done, but she didn't seem to mind.
I also did a lot of stuff in regard to the sale of my mother's property in Bigfork. And tomorrow, I'm going to the title company's Missoula office and I'm signing the paperwork. Then the sale will be finalized by the end of the week, and we'll get paid. It'll probably take a little time before we see the money, but apparently this has been a VERY fast process according to the relator and the title company folks.
I've been on the phone with Cory and Spencer a lot to get various information that needed to be submitted in order to get this done. But I'm so glad that we're so close to having it all done and over with. I even talked with James about things we all might do to help Spencer make the money last as long as possible since I don't think he'll ever be a working member of society. He's forty and never really held a job for very long and the stretches between jobs is looooooong.
I did a bunch of laundry for James and helped Jenny with hers too. Now I think I'm going to spend a little time with James and try to get some sleep.
