One of Hester's babies died last night. I don't know why. It was the larger of her two remaining babies. I nicknamed them Thing 1 and Thing 2. Now I don't know what to call the last of her babies. They were just over eight weeks old. I didn't get a chance to take Thing 1 up to the Sacrifice Tree due to the rush, but put him/her in a safe place until I can take care of it tomorrow. I wish I knew what had happened to the poor little bunny. I think it's the same sort of thing that happened to Kvothe (a young, male, ginger bunny that stopped eating and drinking and then died on October 28, 2022).

My sleep last night was a big steaming pile of poop. What little I did get was really low-quality sleep.

Couple that with not getting any food until around 2:00pm, and not even any coffee, and I was a damned zombie all day long.

I had to rush through morning chores in order to go to town with James to drop Sappho off with Camel for babysitting. Then we met Mariah at her office for back-to-back massages. While I was in mine, James got some work done in his office across the hall, and while he got his, I napped on the sofa in the waiting area.

James had to leave, and so did Mariah, but I had an appointment at 3:30pm for a wax, so I stayed in town while he had another appointment and picked up Sappho to take her home. He was nice enough to come and pick me up when my appointment was done. It meant that he didn't get a whole lot of work done today, which makes me feel guilty for some reason.

If I had been able to pick up my car, then he wouldn't have had to come back to town to get me. But the body shop says that it won't be ready until Monday because of the holiday. Grrrrrrrrrrr.

I ubered to Ruby's for some much needed food, and then to my wax appointment.

After we got home, there was some catching up with Jenny, and then I realized that we didn't stop at the store to get the eggs that Jenny had asked for, so I went to the Eastgate Albertsons and got the eggs and a couple of other things for tomorrow. I had to ask some rando who was tall to get me a bottle of sparkling grape juice off the top shelf since there was no way I was going to be able to get to it without an accident.

After I got home with the groceries, I took a shower to perk up so that I could write.
