Getting Things Done Like A Boss
Today's Writing Effort
*Belated Posting*
After the usual morning cat/bunny/chicken routine, I packed up the rest of the stuff that we currently had set aside for donation and I went to town. I stopped at the Antique Mall first to see if anyone wanted to buy some glassware, but the one guy that they thought would buy it wasn't going to be in until Tuesday, so I moved on with the rest of my errands.
I took the truck into the Jiffy Lube on East Broadway, though for some reason I tried to go to the old one on West Broadway first before seeing that it had closed down. Anyway, that went really fast, like thirty minutes and I was on my way.
I stopped at the Home Depot to get a new knob for the hall closet and while I was there, a song came on over the speakers in the store that had just been playing on my phone while I was parking the truck outside. It was kind of freaky.
My last errand was to drop off the rest of the stuff, minus the glassware I still hope to sell, at the Goodwill. Then I could go see oldfellowbunyip.
I don't get to see enough of Dan and I was glad that he was feeling up to having company today because I really wanted to see him and was tempted not to take no for an answer this time. We got to have some really great Snuggles and he made me an omelet and then Gina came home from work at around 3:00pm. They went out to the grocers and I stayed and got a quick cat nap. We watched a little TV until around 5:30pm when I had to leave.
It is Travis' birthday today. I had one stop at the Albertsons to get something for maxheadwidth and then I met him and Bastion at Travis and Kitty's place for a potluck party. We stayed and had fun until around 10:00pm and then we all drove home. I got home first because the fellas made a little detour for something or other.
When we were all home, James and I got to watch an episode of TV and talked a lot and then fell asleep together in his room.
