Today's Writing Effort

*Belated Posting*

After the usual morning routine with the cats, bunnies, and chickens, I had the house to myself for most of the day. I did a bunch of chores. I made maxheadwidth's bed and did three loads of laundry. I did the dishes twice and emptied the used kitty litter.

I spent a lot of the day looking around for the wallpaper that is supposed to go in the library. Still no luck. I even went up to the barn to look there just in case. In fact, I went up to the barn three times, but the second and third times were to retrieve my writing reference books to put on the shelves above my desk. That will be helpful when I'm working on my fiction.

James brought home Pizza Hut for dinner. After dinner I made my third trip up to the barn and when I was done, I went to do some reading/studying with James. Then we watched a couple of episodes of TV and I went to bed alone in my room. Jenny is leaving for Hawaii for a wedding on Wednesday morning and they wanted to spend a couple of nights together.

The remodeling is still going, though they're getting ready to insulate the floor, so that's something. They used some traps to kill a bunch of mice and I had fed them to the chickens. Hopefully that will make the chickens nice and happy.

Last Thursday (03/08/2018), on the way home from dinner at the Good Food Store, James said I would make a good wife and it almost made me cry because it was so sweet. I've been thinking about it ever since and hoping that I always live up to that thought.
