Dan And I Reunited
Today's Writing Effort
I stayed up until 3:00am because maxheadwidth and I were up a bit late and I also had to go out and turn on the chicken lights to set the timer on them. While I was up, I fed the cats since I didn't want to have to get up too many times.
I got up again at 8:30am to take care of the chickens and bunnies and then went back to sleep until almost 11:00am. I felt like a slug sleeping in that late and wasting half of my day, but I was too tired to do anything else.
After getting ready for my day, James and I went into town and I dropped him off at the gym. Then I texted oldfellowbunyip to see if he would like me to come over and he said yes, so I did just that. When I arrived, Gina was in the bathroom coloring her hair and Dan and I retreated to the bedroom in short order for some Snuggles and talking and generally just making one another happy. When we'd gone a couple of rounds, we got dressed and joined Gina in the living room to watch a little TV. They went to get some food for all of us and we had a good time hanging out and watching good shows.
I had to leave around 6:40pm to meet James at the nearby Starbucks. I got myself a coffee because I was having an attack of the sleepies. When James was ready to leave, we went to the Good Food Store to get some things for dinner for James (I had eaten not too long ago and wasn't hungry) and then we went to Jo-Anne's Fabrics to get some things for the house and we looked at fabric for a new divider curtain in the Oratory. We didn't pick anything up for that, but I think we found a material that we both liked. Combined with the furniture that we picked out the night before, I think we're going to have a lovely worship/study space.
The remodeling is going pretty well. I don't know when it will be done, but I live in constant hope that it will be done any day now. I still can't find the wallpaper that goes in the library though and that is very vexing.
When James was done cooking himself dinner and I was done with the dishes, we went upstairs to watch some more TV together and I actually got to sleep next to him. I was so happy about that. I missed sleeping next to him so much.
P.S.
I talked with Josh P. (the guy fixing the car) and there is the possibility of it being done and ready to come home early next week. I don't know exactly when, but hopefully I won't be carless for very much longer.
