Today's Writing Effort I did not want to leave the house today. But I had to. But that was later. I did my usual morning routine with the cats, bunnies, and chickens. This was the last day of the current pill bottle that I had to give Yuno two pills a day, so that meant tracking her down and getting her somewhere enclosed and quiet-ish so that her yowling didn't wake up anyone at o-dark-thirty. Then I went back to bed.
When I got up, I got ready for my day and drove into town. I went to the Post office to get a package that was waiting for James. They almost wouldn't let me have it because it was a registered letter item and I almost didn't have anything with my current address on it, but then I remembered that I still have my checkbook and it has my current address on it. I was so proud to get it because it was the first thing I ever got with my forever home address on it. Then I went to Eastgate Albertsons to get my missing baking item and then I went home.
When I got home, I swept the floors and did the dishes and baked cookies and then I had to shovel the walk again and put away the bunnies and chickens and then it was time for
maxheadwidth and I to go on our date. We did an errand first to visit Mariah's ex, David, who is Miko's Dad, to get the key to her place so that we can deliver gifts while she's at work.
Then we went to Kobe for sushi. It was funny, because that's the same place that Jenny and James went to the night before and the waitress recognized James even though he was with a different girl this time. LOL. Dinner was delicious and James and I talked wedding stuff in an idle sort of way.
When we got home, we each did our own thing for a little while in my room together, and then we watched a couple of Ted Talks and then we went to bed together.
