Burying My Feelings When Loaning The Car

Today's Writing Effort

My early morning animal care routine has gotten a lot easier since the water dispensers don't freeze up all the time. I think the bunnies and chickens appreciate it too. I should stop and ask Bastion to feed Yuno, but it seems like more work than actually feeding her myself, so I just do it and then go back to bed for another hour or so.

When I got up this morning, I had some things I needed to get done around the house before I could go into town to see Dan. And maxheadwidth was having a bad morning, so Jenny drove him into town because he didn't think he should be driving.

I dropped off a movie at Crazy Mike's before I went to Dan's place so that I wouldn't be stuck paying for more than one day late. And because I was there right at opening, the gal only charged me half of the late fee. Yay!

When I got there, we made out and talked and watched a little TV and got pizza. Then we ate lunch and had Snuggles and talked some more and watched some more TV. Gina came home in the middle of our post-Snuggle show and it was nice to see her. I wish I got to see her more.

Partway through my visit with Dan, James called me and asked if it would be okay for Mariah to borrow the car because the power steering went out on her car and it won't be fixed until Monday. I said okay even though it puts us all in a bind when it comes to getting around. And right at the end of our post-Snuggle show, James called again to know when I would be home. So I told him I was leaving for home in a couple of minutes and I texted him when I was in the car and about to hit the road.

When I got home, I tried to say hi to Bastion and Jenny, but Bastion had on his headphones and Jenny didn't respond. I don't know if she didn't hear me or if she was mad at me for some reason. Or maybe whatever it is that she was going through had nothing to do with me. At least that's what James said later when I asked if she was mad at me for something. *Le Sigh*

But I put away the bunnies and chickens and filled up the chicken food bucket and then I had dinner with Bastion and James. Jenny was in her room. Either she wasn't hungry, or she just needed some alone time. I had to update my laptop and then head into town to deliver the car to Mariah. She and AJ took me home and AJ grabbed something really quick from his room for school. I did get to see Ethan briefly while I was at Mariah's and that was really nice.

Anyway, after I got back, sans car, I did some work on my computer and then it was time to go to bed, alone, except for the cats. I could have stayed up and did the dishes, but they can wait until the morning.
