Today's Writing Effort
I got up at 6:30am this morning. Better, but not great. I figured that since Jenny got home a little on the late side of things, that she might want to sleep in. And maxheadwidth always needs more sleep. I can get by with a little less sleep now and again. So I got the boys up. Bastion was up, but Ethan and AJ, not so much. At least Ethan got up and stayed up. AJ is always harder to get up in the morning because he just falls back asleep.
I got everyone to school on time and then came home and fed the chickens. Someone had let them and the bunnies out, probably Jenny. I also cleaned the kitty litter boxes and when I was done, I crawled under a blanket and went back to sleep for another hour.
When I woke up I started a load of laundry and put away the clean dishes while loading the dishwasher up again. I got to read for a little bit and then I had to go into town for some errands. I went to the courthouse because the tags on the car had expired and I was really lucky that I didn't have to wait too long to be helped. Since I still had time on the parking meter, I walked to the bank and did a change of address there.
I drove to the Department of Licensing and did an address change there too. That was pretty simple too. It must have been my lucky day.
After that, I hit the post office and picked up a package for James and went to the Albertsons for more yogurt.
I didn't have time enough to do much of anything before picking up Ethan from school, so I drove out to his school and just waited in the one shady spot until I could get in the queue of cars in front of the school.
We went straight home and halfway up the road to the house, we saw Bastion just waiting for someone to come along and pick him up. *Le Sigh* So we did.
I did get to text with Dan a bit today and I asked about some birthday Snuggles, but it's up in the air, partially due to his friend Bill's bachelor party. Since Dan is Best Man, he can't just skip out on it. That's bad form.
At the house, I finished the laundry and got some more reading done. priapussy and I did a test call on Skype because I was supposed to Skype in for the first of his Discernment meetings. The meeting was kind of dull and I couldn't follow along with a lot of it because no one emailed me the material needed before the meeting. So I was just there to get the lay of the land so to speak.
I also missed dinner because of the meeting, but they saved me some food. I ate pretty much whatever was left. Then James, Bastion, Ethan, and I watched a couple of episodes of Doctor Who.
I'm actually really liking it so far. I never really did before, but I think it's just that James loves it so much that makes it more appealing. Or maybe it's the actors, male and female, in the show. They're really very good. But it was a lot of fun.
Then everyone went to bed. Ethan is still in James' room, so I slept in mine.
