Today's Writing Effort Last night Jenny and her sister Amber slept in
maxheadwidth's bed because his door has a lock on it and after the Contractors got drunk and inappropriate with them, they didn't feel safe in Jenny's room. So James and I slept in Jenny's room and it was really strange. I felt it was not nice of me to sleep sans pajamas in Jenny's bed, so I slept in a big t-shirt and I was way too hot. *Le Sigh*
But Amber went back home today. I'll come back to that.
My day was pretty boring. I did some chores and removed a little sod, though I didn't get as much of that done as I would have liked because we got a little bit of rain. Not really enough, but at least it was something. I was going to try to watch some of the Permaculture videos, but the Contractors had their music up so loud I could barely think, and I couldn't escape. Jenny had gone into town with Amber, to take her to the airport, and James was in town at the gym with AJ.
I did get my new hard drive and so I've been copying my tv/video files to it so that I can retire my first hard drive. AJ asked for it, but I don't know if I want to give it to him seeing as it already failed me a couple of times. I think that would be a recipe for disaster.
The remodeling seems to be going well, though I'll be happy when the inside is finally done. The mess is really starting to get to me. I crave order and cleanliness and this is the very opposite and it's driving me round the bend.
And since Jenny's still not comfortable around the Contractors, and they still need to finish her room, James and AJ dragged her mattress up to James' room and we're all going to be sharing one room for a little while.
James and I were supposed to have a date today, but that got shunted aside by life stuff and his desire to play a board game with Bastion, Ethan, and AJ. I was going to play too, but it was a game for only four players. Oh well.
Kitty came by to swap out her car for the truck so that she and Travis can go on their trip to Oregon. And Jenny's dog-sitting Mariah's dog Beau for a couple of days.
So today was a bit of a cluster fuck in some ways.
James and the boys were still playing their board game,
Dark Souls, when I decided to go to bed. James can use the Oratory for his evening Liturgy in a pinch, and since Jenny is already in the bedroom sleeping, I don't feel bad about going to sleep too.
