Today's Writing Effort

Sleeping on the loveseat was ... interesting. Most of it was okay, but my right shoulder was rather unhappy. I got up when maxheadwidth told me it was 7:00am. I thought that Jenny was taking Bastion into Driver's Ed, but maybe I was wrong, so I got up and tried to get Bastion up. He didn't want to and wanted today to be his last available no-show day. I told James and apparently he couldn't convince Bastion to go. But Jenny got up and went into town and I thought about going back to sleep. I decided not to and went to work on my computer. I got a text from James saying I could go into the bedroom and take a nap, but I didn't feel like it. What he didn't say was that I could take a nap with him. That would have been a whole other story. *Le Sigh*

Anyway, I mostly got to work on my computer for the day since I didn't have anywhere to be and no way to get there since Shani decided not to return the car today like she was supposed to. This is getting to be a bad pattern. It's especially bad because Dan doesn't have a car tomorrow and neither do I, so we can't see each other until that situation changes. :(

Anyway, I did get to go into town after lunch with James to run some errands with him. He didn't need me along, but it was nice to get to spend some time with him. We went to the loan office for the remodeling, then we went to Shakespeare & Company to pick up some books that James had ordered for Bastion. We stopped at the Good Food Store so that James could get a salad. I wasn't hungry because I'd had lunch at home. Then we went to Michael's to pick up the posters that we had dropped off the other day to be foam mounted because they were done already.

After that, we drove home and everyone was doing their own thing for a while until dinner. But I got to have some Adult Fun Playtime with James before dinner and I wish we had had some time to cuddle too.

Everyone ate dinner except Monte because he was asleep. He ate later. Later on I got to talk with Justin, the head Contractor, about the shelves for my room. We got that mostly worked out. We still need to pick brackets and the beveling or whatever it's called. I know Jack about carpentry really.

Before going to sleep on the sofa again, I folded laundry for James and I and emptied the dishwasher so that I could run it again. No rest for the wicked.

And tomorrow I'm running Bastion and AJ into town and picking up Ethan from Mariah's house. I must be very wicked indeed.
