The Saga Of The Phones
Today's Writing Effort
My day started out pretty wonderful. I got to spend a little time with maxheadwidth and have some Adult Fun Playtime before I had to take the truck into town to pick up Ethan and AJ from a half day at school. Travis had brought it back in the morning and picked up his car.
I picked up AJ first and he got some driving practice in by going to get Ethan and then going to the T-Mobile store so I could get a new phone. Except we were there forever because my data wouldn't transfer from my old phone to the new phone.
Finally, AJ drove us over to the Fresh Mart so we could get food and then we went back to the phone store. The store manager said that the thing might work and I took the boys home and let AJ drive. But it didn't, so I called the store and he went to get the cable he needed for this special machine they have (the old cord was broken), and the transfer still took forever.
I was there pretty continuously from around 1:00pm to 8:00pm. At least I got a hefty credit to my account for the inconvenience.
I also missed another call from Heather. :(
