Sometimes Things Just Work Out Well

I got up a little earlier than needed to so that I could get ready for work and when I went to get dressed, I woke James up, but he didn't seem to mind. We had snuggles and a little Adult Fun Playtime before getting on with the day. That's the surest way to put a smile on my face.

Sometimes things work out for the best when you get something done that needed to be done and you get to help out a friend at the same time. Kitty and Travis are moving and needed some empty boxes and also needed to borrow the truck. So maxheadwidth said yes, but since the back of the truck had some trash in it, they needed to take it to the dump before they could use it for moving. So I put empty boxes in the back of the truck for Kitty and Travis. Jenny had taken the boys to school and then went to work. It's a big day for her since she runs a Glass/Head Shop here in town and it is 4/20.

I drove straight to work where I had a training class and a test today and then James went to swap vehicles with Travis. After my class and test, I got to talk to James a bit. Ethan was supposed to head from school to my place on the city bus and James was worried about him because we hadn't had an in-depth discussion about when he would arrive and what to do if he got on the wrong bus or got on the right one but got off at the wrong stop and whatnot. But Ethan showed up when I thought he would. I missed the bus so I had to take an Uber back to my dorm room and James was so relieved. He showed up soon after and we went to get Panda Express for dinner.

We hung out at my place for a bit and James went to pick up Theo at doggy daycare. Then we all went to get AJ after his Driver's Ed class and we went home. James had some work to do and AJ stayed in his room, but Ethan and I watched a movie and then the boys went to bed.

I stayed up for a little bit, but around 11:00pm or so, Jenny got home from work and James spent the night with her. I've been a little sick lately, so that worked out well because I didn't want to keep him up with my coughing all night.
