The Last Three Day's Writing Effort Monday, 03/13/2017:
With my application for Opportunity Resources Inc. 99.9% filled out, I needed to get it notarized. I also needed to send off a letter to
priapussy at long last. So I headed downtown to the library. I wanted to write a little postscript before sending off the letter and wanted a quiet place to do it. I also picked up a couple of books to read while I was there. Then I walked to the post office and dropped the letter in the mail. Then it was off to the bank to get part of my application for ORI notarized. I even had time to drop off the application packet before work. I think I made a really nice impression on the receptionist lady, though for the life of me I can't remember her name. I also ran into Travis on my way to the front door. He was leaving and I got to say hi and give my best to Kitty and Bastion.
After dropping off my application packet, I went back to my dorm room, changed into my work clothes, and went to work. I'd gotten everything ready to go back to the new house with
maxheadwidth before leaving on my errands for the day. So after work, we went to my place first to pick up my things and then we went to Panda Express for food for James (I'd eaten at work), and then I got to drive the 3/4 ton pickup truck all the way back to the new house. It was daunting and I was a little shaky after I parked it at the house, but I did it. It was even raining ... and night time. I feel very proud of myself.
I took Theo out to play fetch by the barn for a half an hour because he hadn't had any playtime at all today and the heat of my breath drifting up through the head lamp I was wearing made me feel like a dragon, or maybe a dame from a hard boiled detective novel.
There was a lot of snuggling and Adult Fun Playtime in the evening and we talked about what was going on the next day and then it was time for bed. However, James was having a rough night, so after a bit, we got up and went down to the kitchen so he could have a sort of shake to drink and there was more talking and then back to bed and this time we fell asleep.

Part of what James and I talked about last night was how and when he would take me into town. I had to be at work at 4:00pm, but the only other thing I had to do was Biolife, but he and I agreed that I would stay home and get some things done around the house that needed doing, including taking Theo out to play for a little bit, and cleaning up the kitchen and sweeping the floors. Then I would get some driving practice in by driving the car to work. That was a little harrowing, but I made it there without getting into an accident or anything. James is a very encouraging driving teacher.
Work was work. And I drove home to the new house in the car, all the way from the store. At least it wasn't raining tonight, though there was some fog once I got off the freeway. After getting settled, James and I watched a little Netflix, and had some Adult Fun Playtime and went to sleep.

I had a bit of a rough night. I had very strange dreams, but I didn't remember them upon waking. But some Adult Fun Playtime with James made my morning a whole lot better. After getting up for the day, we took some trash to the dump and then took Theo to Alpine Canine Doggy Daycare so that he could have some time with other dogs. James took me to my place so I could drop some things off before work and I had a little time before I had to be there, so I chilled out until it was time to go.
Work was work. It was also a long shift. But I'd gotten some good news before work. I got a call from a gal named Terry from ORI, and we set up an interview for tomorrow at 1:30pm I'm super excited, but nervous too. This job would be a much better fit in terms of salary, benefits, and hours worked (hopefully) and that would be a big help to the family and to me. It would be nice if I had something more consistent. It would also help if I liked the work, but I've worked places that I didn't really like for a long time and as long as it can keep me afloat, then I'll just deal with it.
Since James had to go to Ethan's choir concert at 7:00 and then rush home to do his class, I am staying at my dorm room tonight. It works out well anyway since I have a bunch of things to do tomorrow and it's just better to start in town at my place.
