Energy Enough For That

Today's Writing Effort

*Belated Posting.*

Still sick. I'm so ready to be over this cold. Apparently I'm not the only one. This really nasty strain has been going around I guess. I called in sick to work. Again. But I wasn't ready to be running around helping folks and going out in the cold after carts and such. No. I did go to the new house with Dan and Gina and Marc for game at last. Things kept happening on Saturdays and then I got a job that never lets me have Saturdays off and so it's been a while.

It was really nice to see Ethan, AJ, and Bastion for a wee bit and Jenny, of course. And she made us all dinner and it was delicious.

Game was so fun, even if I couldn't talk much and didn't have much energy. And on Saturdays when I have to work, the others will play something else instead. It was so nice when they said that playing Demimonde without me wasn't even an option. If I could have, I would have cried. I just didn't have the energy or the fluids for it. But I was touched.

At the end of game, maxheadwidth convinced me to stay the night even though I hadn't brought any of my supplies. I told him that I might keep him up with my coughing, but he didn't seem to mind. It turns out that either I wasn't coughing enough to keep him up (thanks to the horrible tasting but highly effective cough drops I have), or he really was able to just sleep right through it. That's good information to have in case I get sick again.

But before we went to sleep, we did some online shopping and watched a little Netflix and had some Adult Fun Playtime. That was something that I had missed so much. The only thing I didn't get to do while I was there was kiss James because I might still be contagious.
