Well, Weather.com predicts snow tonight which I still can't believe. It's after spring break, and it's supposed to be cool not cold and with sunshine. I don't want to get sick again. It's also been very very windy.

I did very well on my anthropology midterm even though I didn't study for it. The test was messed up anyway. I don't understand how he grades the essays at all. He marked down several of my essays but didn't explain why. Most of the essay questions were opinions anyway. The only essay I got full points on was the one I thought my answer was ridiculous. It was about labor migration and we had to give 4 reasons supporting or opposing it. I could only think of two reasonable answers for each and so I chose to support it and made up two other reasons. And the multiple choice questions were worded strangely and he had to give us four more points b/c so many people got questions wrong. So with the curve I got an A.

Also had my lab practical today, which I was really worried about because I missed a week b/c of choir and missed a whole section on Cryptodirans and Crocodylamorphs. I still think I did alright. Burning pictures of animals in my brain seems to work pretty decently. After, I went and talked to Professor Theimer my vert bio teacher and asked about research opportunities. He suggested that I start by doing my own research over the summer and I think that I'll do something with the riparian preserve. I'm really excited. And in the fall he said that I could probably help someone else with one of their projects.

I also just signed up for my schedule next fall. It is way intense. I am only taking three class subjects worth 13 credits. Organic Chem (shudder*), Microbiology, and photography. And if I have research that will be even more work. But at least all of those classes are on north campus and will be a short walk from Morton. Yup. It'll be a wonder if two labs don't kill me, especially O-chem. Ick. Maybe I'll like it. Most likely not.
