Crappy weather generally puts me in a crappy mood. I need my vitamin D or I feel lethargic.
I've been off my feet too and desk bound for most of the day because I moved onto the "dark side" as Ramona puts it (or I prefer, mini-bureaucrat) cos I've been given more responsibility. I'm contemplating being a bitch and putting pressure on people who don't send me their stats daily - these go towards your performance review (right?), you're been warned. Mwahahaha.
Also after been given permission to move by my team leader (with pressure placed by Monique) to be closer to the rest of the team and save me from boredom, my manager, "Noddy" said no because he wants to keep me close and do tasks for him. I was in his office today and he suggested that we should leave our jobs and start a law firm together - umm... no.
FRIDAY

- Stay over Diane's place watching "28 Days Later" with Dale
SATURDAY

- Paintball at Heartbreak Ridge
Very early in the morning. Ability to be shot at from point blank range. Mad scenarios: flag barrier in the centre where you had to change it to you teams colour and keep it that way for the 5 - 10 mins game; angular propellor things that you get to hide from angles; this map that had 7 ways that you could cross and you had to get to the other team's base and pull a flag that lets off an explosion; etc.
I remember in the flag one, these guys who were with us were arguing who would go change the flag and I was like, "Fuck this" and ran onto the concrete slab and changed the flag which with a bottle green flag and a black flag both covered in red paint is hard to distinguish. I pulled up the correct one and these guys on my team were screaming "The other way" and so I started pulling up the other flag and they screamed the same thing out again - I had the right coloured flag up in the first place and then I got shot in the face and in the back of the head. The ref was giving me kudos from the other side "You did good!" - yay!!!
Dale's sister Lisa was pretty hardcore - she went without the neck protector and chest vest - but that's what I should expect from their family.
I avoided getting hit as badly as last time and didn't go all out even though the beginning of each game had 2 minutes of unlimited lives. Even in the free for all, I got a fair bit but I tried to block most of it.
Left and Right Arms (There are about 5-6 golf ball sized marks but they aren't worth showing compared to these babies!!!
- Lounging in an inflatable pool with Diane and Dale
- Bunch of us head off to Narrabeen beach (which I spent the car trip and time on the beach sleeping).
- Japanese & Korean BBQ in Carlingford
- Hung at Serena's place after dinner and be disturbed by her new very playful kitten - preys on everything, especially Diane's feet hidden under a colourful blanket but is shit scared of Dale who stalks it using cat-like traits.
SUNDAY
- Picked up Chris and went to see "Superbad" at the Hoyts in Wetherill Park.
- Did an ounce of shopping
MONDAY
- Bored at work.
- Endured the nicety of "The Hutt/Mini-Hitler"'s new regime - poor Rhys gets bagged out for his efforts on Friday (and he's not even there to defend himself).
- Joined Fitness First with Monique after work. We only have time to jog on the treadmill for 30 minutes.
TUESDAY
- Work
- Logan gets moved away and I am in total isolation for once! It is boring!
- 45 minute pump class with Monique
- My uncle comes over with his family. My almost 6 month old baby cousin Cindy is so cute and obedient. For a person who doesn't really like many children, I am surprised that I adore her! As you can tell by the picture, I don't know how to hold a child!
WEDNESDAY
- Work
- Depressing weather devours me :-(
- Gym
Old family friend found me on Facebook. Through her I found her sisters and realised that one of them is a instructor at my gym though I don't go to any of her classes as they run at times that I don't attend.
But yes - joined a gym. Should be better this time around because another person equals motivation, right?
Well we participated in the Body Combat class today and my feet are killing me for a couple of weeks now (especially with all that jumping around and kicking today). It has been since I've started jogging regularly a few months ago which is when I got new shoes which has made me come to the conclusion that I need to get properly fitted into shoes. Back of my arms, triceps, kills from pump still...
