Why are all the Labor State Premiers Quitting?
QLD Labor Premier Peter Beatty is quitting his top spot on Thursday to spend time with the family. Not really knowing much about QLD politics, it would be interesting when that 40-something chick takes the top spot.
Several months ago, Steve Bracks quit being the Victorian Premier (doesn't help that his son got caught drink driving not long beforehand).
I'm still disappointed that Bob Carr quit several years back because he actually has charisma compared to Morris Iemma. But Macquarie Bank did offer him shit loads of money.
