Another
wip_amnesty post. For a very large WIP that will never get done.
Title: Untitled Dragon!Rodney Fic
Fandom: Stargate Atlantis.
Word Count: 10,200
A/N: I go and turn Rodney into a dragon. I have no shame. Yes, I have a WIP that tops at 10 thousand words. And this thing is unbetad.

One tiny, infinitesimal nitpick that I saw. You begin with Weir being head of Atlantis and end with Carter. Was a bit confusing. Other then that, it was great!

Ooh, thanks for catching that. I'd forgotten I never finished switching from Weir to Carter.

I'm sorry too that I never got inspired for more of this.
Of course John and Rodney end up together and everyone learns a valuable lesson.
Heh. That's pretty much it. Though, according to my notes there would have been a few adventures to deal with before that. =D

Would you mind if I submitted possible enticement for inspiration that may lead to a continuation? I could make you a Dragon Sculpture of your Rodney as a Dragon. (Or any dragon you'd like). They're pretty. See?

But I am glad this WIP stops at such a nice spot, since its likely to remain there. But please don't hate me for wanting more?

*stares at the awesome dragon sculptures and makes longing noises* OMG! I can't tell you how much the idea of a Rodney!Dragon sculpture is seducing me. There's a reason that I have a dragon in my handle because I love them so. And a physical sculpture of Rodney!Dragon is such an amazing idea.
But...but... there's that pesky writer's block I've hit with this fic. I want to write more. I do. I have the notes for future scenes and everything carefully saved away but I never can get more done.
Maybe when I do my SGA marathon this summer. I'm planning on rewatching all my season DVDS. Maybe then I'll get inspired. I just can't promise anything.
Inspiration can be so damn fickle.
Also, I'm going \o/ that you caught that Rodney will be able to shift from Human shape to Dragon shape. That was exactly where I was going with that.

Awwww. I'm glad you like the sculptures and that the idea is properly seductive.
Yes, writer's block is pesty. And evil. And tormenting. But! That's why I have my gmail chat buddies. Poor them. They get to listen to me ramble as i work things out. Sometimes weird things like My Little Pony and Star Trek. Should you ever wish to take me up on the offer I'd play listener to your writer's block. :) Plus you still have to give me a detailed descrip of Rodney!Dragon as you imagine him.
Yay! I was right, though I was mainly thinking of it because how else would he get John in bed?
