love it! The voices are great, and it sounds like something that would happen.

This was so great in more ways then one! I'm roasting where I live with no AC and hell, I wanted to get into the limo! Oh Harry, you two are so perfect for each other. You can not resist for long. More more more! More to this or another fic, don't care which. Gotta have more Dresden/Marcone!

This summer seems to have evoked a lot of longing for A/C.

*beams* I'm glad it worked!

Ooh, yes. There needs to be more Dresden/Marcone fic in existance.

Thank you for reading!

I had this picture pop into my head the moment Marcone opened the limo door.
The crime lord reaches out to check his temperature.
Harry glares while pulling away. "Do you mind John, I am trying to muster the motivation to tell you to fuck off."

*giggles at that scene*

OMG! Harry would so say that. Ha!

Sighs, too bad I can't put it in a story of my own. The fic ends up being too similiar to yours. Pauses to think.

Hrm, maybe if I made it so that Harry was sick instead of coming down with heat stroke and Marcone more or less kidnaps him with the intention of getting Harry medical attention. That might work. I will have to think about it.

Sorry to kidnap the conversation, and even more for that lame pun but--YES! Someone HAS to write this! If it's you, in this verse, I may have to kiss you. If not, I'll kiss someone else. Mwhahaha...

I've never loved this pairing more.

Great writing, it was very believable as a Dresden Files scene. I mean, I could actually picture this happening in the book.

Generally I have to employ some suspension of belief. :D

\o/ Thank you! I'm very glad that the fic read as plausible, that's what I was aiming for, so: Yay!

Thank you for reading and commenting!

Oh my GOD humidity ... *shudders* That's been plaguing the folks around here for the past couple of weeks. I hope it isn't humid when we preform the play. Outdoor theater is so finicky.
LOVED this fic! *mems* Noticed a couple of typos, though, and tense-changes. Didn't detract from the awesomeness that is this fic, but still, you might want to consider getting a beta.

No! I must resist. That coolness was like the apple being offered by the serpent. A serpent named Marcone.
Hee!

I just about feel into the car
Typo?

“I still don’t like you,” I told Marcone, between gulps of thirst clenching ambrosia.
“I‘m sure that you don‘t,” replied Marcone, his voice still amused. The corners of his mouth twitched.
*sporfles* Oh boys ...

I love air conditioning. If air condition was a person I’d happily sleep with it. Me and A/C would have been it, true love. At least on my side. A/C would probably gotten around.
Bahahahahahhahaaa ...

“I wonder what other noises I can get you to make, Dresden,” said Marcone, his voice soft and thoughtful. What ( ... )

*wishes you luck with the weather on your play day*

Ack, thank you for pointing out the typo. *sneaks off to fix*

Oh, I'd have LOVED to have seen the look on Harry's face the first time Marcone propositioned him like that ...

=D I think the main expression on his face would be terror, more terror and disbelief with a bit a interest that he swiftly beat down. Heh.

This is SO Harry. *pokes you* Sure you're not Jim Butcher in disguise?

\o/ I'm glad Harry sounded so true! And really, is I was Jim Butcher the last couple of books would have had tons more Gentleman Johnny Marcone.

I'm glad you liked the story!

Hmm, I may do a prequel explaining the bit where Marcone confessed. I've got so many more squares of my cliche bingo card to fill out.

Thank you for the comments!

Hence: very fun to imagine! *giggles*

Hmmmmm ... true ... *keeps an eye on you just the same* (Don't worry, I'm convinced that most of the Harry/Marcone writers are Jim Butcher. It's nice to be in a fandom with such rampant excellence in writer ability, eh?)

I'm glad you liked the story!
I LOVED this. It really felt like the beginning of one of the books. Right in the thick of it, surprise quest star, and information that happened between the last book and this one.

PLEASE DO! *makes with the puppy eyes*

Thank you for the comments! Thanks for writing this! The world needs more Harry/ ( ... )
