Seriously, everything was made of yum, that everyone of the table was complaning of reaching the OMG!Full stage before finishing everything on their plate and even before the desserts came out.
Yes, you read that correctly. Desserts. As in more than one.
I'm glad to report the berry pie while not looking the best, as it had a lattice crust and I've never actually made that before so it looks weirdly lopsided. Fortunately, it may have looked strange but it honestly tasted so good, after eating a single slice I was considering adding another to my plate. Yay! Pie!
Evidence of Pie:
My brother made a tiramisu. Which was awesome and made me glad I hadn't had that second slice of pie so I could at least eat that.
The hilarious thing about the desserts? We scared the other people at the table when we admitted that neither of us, me or my brother, had ever made those desserts before today. Before anyone took a bite! After all the laughter and worried glances tapered off, my brother and I each grabbed the dessert we made and were the first to try them. Then everyone else tried them.
All around agreement. OM NOM NOM NOM!
