Normally the bouncer gives us trouble and finds some reason not to let her in, he looks for things. This time there wasn't anything so he turns to me, and since my ID expired the day before (haven't had time to get it renewed) he told me I couldn't go in. He flat said, look I know you're old enough but you can't come in since your ID is expired.
We went to a different bar, this one took one look at me and asked what I'd like to drink. They didn't care if I even had an ID since I'm clearly over 21.
They also had a stage.
They also gave me hoots, whistles, and some standing people clapping and cheering when I sang.
She and I sang Bitch again, then we did Friends in Low Places. I did my usual Cher - If I Could Turn Back Time.
The only downside is that singing stops at 12:30, which on that night was an upside since I haven't been getting much sleep and I was crashing out.
So I got to sing, and still get enough sleep to go into work super early (been going in extra early to get overtime).

It was sweet, there was a dull talking when my song started (I went up by myself first), then when I hit the first few notes everyone shut up. After a few moments I was getting whistles etc.

Now you can laugh at me.....

I used to sing on stage all the time when I was in choir and I did monologues on stage in my drama group, here my knees were knocking together the whole time and I wasn't even facing the bar because I didn't have my contacts in to be able to see the screen behind them and I had to look at the one that faced me away from everyone. (hello run on sentence lol)
