hooray!
I got the internship at the Courier Journal! I'm so very excited about this. Five days a week...weekends off...good pay...and it's not fast food! Plus it will count for school, so that's nice.
Thanks to everyone who said very positive and encouraging things to me (like blake and Cil the morning of my interview). I can't tell you how much I really appreciate it. It's nice to hear positive things. There doesn't seem to be much of that going around lately.
My weekend was ok. Saturday was hangover day. SUCK. But I got to see some people on Saturday night, which was nice. Too bad I felt so crappy that I practically sat in one spot for most of the night. But the people that came around where I was sitting and said hello - It was nice to see you! If I didn't see you, and you were there...maybe I'll have a chance to see you again soon.
Also - Yale is funny when he's drunk. Though I've lost count of the number of times that I've kept him from driving home. (love you yale!)
