I'm so proud of this country right now. and so proud to be a part of this country- more than ever before, and obviously more than any point in the last 8 years.
I voted for the first time :) did my vote make a difference in a state thats usually blue anyways? maybe not, but it still feels awesome.
I'm so hopeful of this country right now. we're on the right track.
but at the same time-- i hate when people play the race card. this country was built on immigration and people from all over the world. we should embrace this (as clearly we did last night) and come together, not make it divide us even more.
And older (mostly) people who are not fans of him, because hes not conservative. As much as I know that one age group is not any more important than the next, that still makes me mad. people who are 80+ years old or whatever, yet MY age group is the one that rocked this election and made our voices heard. that's because its OUR future and OUR america- we don't want to be conservative anymore!!!!
I personally don't have any doubt that he'll be able to be a great president. i could go on and on but i just wanted to make this entry becuase i am sooo happy and sooo hopeful for the future of our country and all the people in it!!
Anything is possible!
