This seems like it needed to be in a separate posting from last nights musings about naked shenanigans to come.

I went to my first day if training to work at the hospital, and if it was any indication, I have a feeling I'm really going to enjoy working there. I got to meet the people I'd be working closely with, and they all seem pretty nice. My team leader, Tony, lived in Detroit and worked for GM for a few years, so we had something to talk about from the get-go. And he didnt even give me the "PUH-lease, white girl, what do you know about living in Detroit?" tone of voice. Yes, I think we're going to get along just fine.

The day was mostly going over policies and security, I got my hospital ID badge (luckily) before the printer they use broke. We got a free lunch, paid training, found out we get paid breaks, got free parking tokens, and a gift certificate for the hospital gift/coffee shops. Yes, I think I will like working here just fine.

Starting off tomorrow, I have a collective 29 hours at Naturalizer, and another 7 at the hospital. No downtime. After Saturday's work, I have some time to kill, then head to Toronto. I'm not really sure what I'll do in those 5ish hours, but I'll figure something out before then. From there, no downtime till atleast Monday. I have to squeeze in a trip to my doctor's to get my immunizations up to date sometime this week too.
