"Are you ok?" Jack Michelle and Ashley all cried in Unison as they rushed into my cubical in the emergency room.
"Yes fine but he flipped out," I said.
"We're putting a police guard on you until the trial," Michelle said and that was how I got to know her team.
It was 3 months later and Michelle was with me when I had an attack of what turn out to be appendicitis and had to be rushed to the hospital. We were able to perform the surgery without harming the baby and it was at that time that we learned that I was having twins.
It was when I was in the hospital that Robert and Tara tried to have me attacked and stop from testifying. They sent Eddie's twin brother Neil after me with a baseball bat but Michelle stopped him as soon as I screamed. The trial began 2 days after I was released from the hospital.
"Just relax," Jack said as I sat down beside him at his table. "You won't be testifying."
"I hope not," I said trying to smile and not knowing at that time how wrong jack was.
I watched as the witnesses and prisoners entered the courtroom. I knew Michelle and Ashley would testify first. Once the judge was on the bench and the 2 lawyers had made their opening statements the first witness was called.
"I call Ms. Ashley Taylor," Jack said and Ashley stepped forward. She swore on the bible to tell the truth and the questioning began.
