We're talking about the serious business of Pokemon AUs for your beloved characters. I require your teams, types, gyms, city, what fucking ever. Do it.

Just for you, Vorrick.

Gym Leader Adrian Marner of Duskheart City is one of the top gym leaders of the region. Defeating Marner gives the trainer the Dream Badge, a symbol of the pokemon he uses-- ghost.

His team is comprised of six pokemon, which he has a tendency to be brutal with. It is not unusual for pokemon to come out of battles injured, though deaths have yet to occur. His tactics are based around poison, curses, and stat effects, something he has spent years working on. Adrian has two teams-- his gym team and the team he competes outside it with.

His team is the following: a Mismagius, which is his strongest pokemon; a Sableye, a Jellicent, a Chandelure, a Frolass, and a Gengar. Within the gym, when no fights are taking place, other pokemon can be found, generally of the soft/fluffy type.

The Gym is a large building, a sprawling Victorian mansion in the middle of Duskheart. It's his family's former home in the region, though they've long since left for a more sedate area. Duskheart is intensely urban and acts as a main center for learning.

Adrian's gym is sadly annoying in traps. There are three sections to it. The first stage leads into a labyrinth of trainers; the second is a maze through the mansion itself. The last involves a walking trap that, if done incorrectly, leads to poison effects on your pokemon.

Adrian battles in the ballroom and generally keeps his battles as short as possible, unless you prove annoying. He has agreements with various pokemon stations to air his fights because he is an arrogant fuck who likes money.

His trainers span the whole spectrum, from rich twits attempting to make it to cowgirls to ace trainers. The closer a trainer is to the ballroom, the more likely they're one of his 'official' trainers. He tends to let random trainers hang out in the labyrinth for extra fuckery.

He also has a lot of strange rivalries with other gym leaders and some prominent trainers.

Non-gym leader Adrian is one of those Ace Trainers who turns up at the worst moment with the worst pokemon. He's probably ranked fairly high in the Leagues he's competed in, though he's never come in first place. Think 'rising star with more fans than's good for him'.

This comment is to communicate how much I hate you and that his favourite pokemon is that Mismagius.

Some parts of Duskheart you don't go to at night. People think it's because of the Gym-- they think it's because the ghost pokemon attract like. Adrian's always found it convenient to let them think that. Duskheart probably has a higher than average death rate, particularly from 'mysterious' causes that some guess linked to ghost pokemon.
