so i'm basically ready for this election to be over.
i'm sick of all the politics.
idk if i can deal with another month of this crap.
i just want something to be done,
enough finger pointing,
aren't we all in it for the good of the people?
it's become a finger pointing game.
this is me quoting some comedian that was on leno, who was quoting some dude, who said
"never question a person's motives, but question their judgement."
i agree.
i think all these people's motives are good,
but sometimes both of their judgement is off,
but that's why we have professionals to consult who should know what their talking about.
can't we all just be friends?
i feel like it's not a competition between the democrats and the republicans right now...i feel like it's a war.
i feel like i can't talk to my friends about political stuff because i feel like any disagreement in political policy will blow their top off.
i feel like even mentioning the name "McCain" sends people off into this whirlwind spiral talking about how ridiculous anybody could be in supporting him, and makes me feel like a crazy person for not supporting O'Bama.
i'm not able to vote anyways so it makes me feel like crap cuz i can't do anything about it whether i want to or not.
sure there are things i don't agree with about McCain but there's more i don't support about O'Bama.
And will you give Palin a break?
she's new at this, but i'm pretty sure what she doesn't know, she's gonna be willing to learn.
and sure she's not that great at debates, but that stuff takes pratice, she's only been on the campaign for like a month.
yeah katie couric destroyed her in that interview, but when katie first started out as an interviewer, she wasn't so hot herself.
palin is a normal human being, she's not superwoman, but she's gonna give it her best.
and yeah she may be a lil' inexperienced, but with that short amount of time and experience she has, she got a whole lot of shit done; and yea maybe you don't agree with everything she's done in the past but you have to admire her for getting it done in the first place.
many people in legislature take years and years and YEARS to accomplish ANYTHING. to pass one lil' bill. she has done so much in a few years time.
and now she's not just looking out for her state of alaska, she's got the whole countries well-fare to look out for now, and her and McCain aren't gonna do anything stupid. they're in as much trouble as the rest of us if the nation goes down the drain.
and that $300 billion dollar mortage bill...yea it's a crappy idea, but it wasn't McCain's. other economists proposed it, and whether McCain has anything to do with it or not, it's probably gonna end up getting passed cuz what's another $300 billion after that $800 billion bail-out that just passed?
and right now they're trying to employ that fiscal policy that i can't remember the name of, but it's when they lower taxes and increase gov spending. that's what regan did. yea regan's a repulican, but a lot of peeps liked him in his time.
screw it, who cares? this whole thing is ripping the nation appart, i'm willing to concede, let's just stop fighting about it and vote already.
as you can tell this election has gotten to me, and i've had a lot of built up things i've been repressed from saying.
so that's my 2 cents.
but if i had my way...Ron Paul would be President.
but that's just me.
