So, my walk-train-walk commute is about thirty-seven minutes in the morning, plus or minus two minutes depending on when I arrive at the BART (aka metro) station. This is too short for most albums, and far too long for me to be fiddling with my music the entire way, trying to get the perfect balance of songs that will take me from a sleep-bedraggled zombie into a functioning, productive cubicle-drone member of the workforce.
Therefore: a mix.
In fact, I made six mixes, because variety is the spice of life (and the spice must flow).
There's ten songs on each mix, running time 37 to 40 minutes, and they're generally happy, although I focused more on how the songs made me feel than the particular lyrics (in most cases). There's links to download each mix after the track list, or you can download all of them at the very bottom. Enjoy!
