General Mix - Marathon Mashup Vol 1
In my on-going effort to introduce my BFF to awesome running music, I ended up compiling four and a half hours of mashups. I'd say I'm sorry... but, actually? I'm really, really not. Mashup music isn't a guilty pleasure of mine - how can you feel guilty for enjoying music which is so in-your-face HAPPY? It's all about celebrating music of all sorts, from the craziest, latest pop to old classic rock or jazz.
Some of the best nights of my life have been spent dancing to this stuff with a bunch of strangers just out to have a great time.(Thank You Bootie SF!) So the following three mixes have been created to spread the joy that is mashup culture - exercise to them, dance to them, or just listen to them for the craziness that is a Mozart/hip-hop blend or Bollywood + Metallica done perfect.

07| DJ Earworm - Low Lovin'
Flo Rida & T-Pain vs. Chromeo & Yuksek - The most "club" track on this mix.
08| Party Ben - Beat Sauce
Duck Sauce vs. Michael Jackson - Michael Jackson with a modern house disco feel.
09| DJ Tripp - Edge Of Love
Lady Gaga vs. The Outfield - Lady Gaga gets a ton of play in the mashup community, and this track with Outfield's quarter-decade-old-but-still-awesome hit is one of the best.
10| Mashup-Germany - Follow Me To A Wonderful World
Elijah King vs. Louis Armstrong vs. Uncle Kracker vs. Bruno Mars vs. Rich & Bitch - Uplifting lyrics that incorporate the great Louis Armstrong.
11| A Plus D - Planetary Firework
Katy Perry vs. My Chemical Romance - Katy's vocals just sound so much better with a harder rock sound.
12| DJ Earworm - Say It Right Away
Nelly Furtado ft Timbaland vs. The Egg vs. Madonna - Dark electro with a pop of Madonna
13| Mac Johnce - Freaky Kicks In The Dark
Foster The People vs. Dev vs. Mayra Verónica - The best mashup I've heard for the song of (my) summer, Pumped Up Kicks.

The Smiths vs. Morning Parade - I never would have thought that The Smiths would work this well with an electronic feel.

Kreayshawn vs. Toni Basil vs. Le Tigre vs. The Ting Tings vs. The Trashwomen vs. The Go-Go's - The edge of annoying, I'll admit, but it's still So. Much. Fun.

The Futureheads vs. Alphabeat - Pure, unbridled genius of a mashup
23| Norwegian Recycling - Miracles
Bruno Mars vs. B.O.B. vs. Gnarls Barkley vs. Britney Spears vs. Jason Derulo vs. Justin Timberlake vs. Lady Gaga vs. Leona Lewis vs. Ne-Yo vs. Michael Jackson vs. Snoop Dogg vs. Survivor vs. Taylor Swift vs. Savage Garden - Mashup magic at its best.
Like all of my running mixes, this album goes up in tempo from ~120 to ~200 BPM (with a cool-down song at the end). Total running time is just a bit over 90 minutes.
